This Privacy Policy applies to E仪表 (EllE OBD Dashboard), an application (the "App") developed and maintained by allhex (EllE brand) ("we", "us", or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable laws. Please read this Policy carefully before using the App.

1. Information We Collect

The App is a utility application that connects to OBD vehicle diagnostic devices via Bluetooth.

The App does not require registration or login, and does not collect any personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, email address, or physical address.

While you use the App, it processes the following information:

1. Vehicle operation data: Real-time vehicle parameters (such as speed, RPM, coolant temperature, and voltage) read from your OBD device (EvilEyesLite / ECAR) via Bluetooth, used for dashboard display, data charts, and acceleration tests. This data is processed and stored locally on your phone only, and is never uploaded to any server.
2. Device information: The Bluetooth name and firmware version of connected devices, used solely for connection management and firmware upgrade features.
3. Local settings: In-App preferences (such as theme and units), stored locally on your phone.

2. System Permissions and Their Purposes

The system permissions requested by the App are used solely for the features described above:

• Bluetooth (scan / connect / advertise): To discover and connect to OBD devices and receive vehicle data.
• Location (Android / iOS): Required only by the operating system to enable Bluetooth scanning for nearby devices.
  The App does not read, record, or upload your location information.
• Wireless / Local Network: To configure WiFi on the OBD device; to connect to the device's hotspot for firmware upgrade.
• Photo Library: Only for selecting images/videos you choose as the device's boot animation.
• Motion sensors (accelerometer / gyroscope): To display G-force values on the "Phone Sensor" page; data is processed on-device only.
• Keep screen awake: To keep the dashboard display always-on.

You may revoke any permission at any time in your system settings. The corresponding feature will become unavailable after revocation, but other features remain unaffected.

3. Use and Storage of Information

• All information is used solely to provide the App's features and is processed on-device;
• History data and settings are stored in your phone's local storage, and are completely removed when the App is uninstalled;
• For firmware upgrades, the App may access the official GitHub repository over the network to obtain firmware files; no personal information of yours is transmitted in this process.

4. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party.

• The App contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or third-party login components;
• Except for GitHub repository access required for firmware downloads, the App does not communicate with any other server;
• We disclose information only when required by law or when necessary to protect our legitimate rights and interests.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that a child has used the App, please contact us and we will assist accordingly.

6. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated as the App's features evolve. If there are material changes, we will notify you through appropriate means within the App or on the app store page. The updated Policy takes effect on the date of publication.
